Just a quick email to say how very satisfied I have been with our involvement with PPC Response since October 2015. I always start business relationships very cautiously and like to be reasonably thorough and diligent. From my earlier experiences I have found web ‘experts’ to be of very mixed abilities, often big on sales, but much smaller on the delivery of results.

But you provided me with a very clear plan of attack and any associated charges, so I would know, if you were true to your system, exactly what my financial commitment was going to be at any one time to any specific campaign. He is an excellent chap to deal with, very patient and knowledgeable, and always willing to explain something sensibly.

I recently decided I would like to know a bit more about how the campaigns worked, as I had another area I wanted to use Adwords on. If you look at the online account they are pretty confusing and hard to make real sense of. So Paul suggested a good starting point would be to sit with Nick while he carried out a review of the Campaign. This I did and it was really useful, both in raising my knowledge level and also forcing me to give more input into the campaign. Nick was incredibly positive about explaining things to me and I saw this small friendly operation close to. “Our company was contacted by PPC-Response a few months ago – one of the Directors Paul explained the service they could offer to help improve our Google AdWords campaigns. Like most businesses we get similar calls almost every day – normally we would politely tell them we were not interested – historically we have managed fairly well running AdWords in-house.

Paul’s attitude seemed a bit different and he was not at all pushy – in fact he was quite open and clear about what they may be able to achieve. What we particularly liked was that PPC do not charge a percentage fee or ongoing monthly cost. They work on your account and invoice you for what they have done. You don’t pay anything until the work is complete and Ryan talks you through what has been done and why. They can do the work in stages – where they identify problems, then implement changes and show you how to do it, or, as we chose, let them get on directly with making suitable changes and improvements – we just paid for each phase once complete. This worked well for us.

Our campaigns are now broken down into more specific and manageable groups. We feel we are not wasting so much of the budget on worthless clicks. As our company continues to grow we have no doubt we will be working with Adam and PPC in the future.”

The emphasis of the programme was to teach us how to manage our AdWords campaigns efficiently and how to deal with Google’s constant rule-changes. As a result, we were able to lower our AdWords spend quite significantly with no obvious impact on impressions or quality click-throughs. Following the course, we were approached by an agency who persuaded us that they could run everything much more effectively than we could. As they were a certified Google partner, I thought all would be well. But the agency cloned our website and made it very hard for us to analyse what they were doing. PPC had warned me that this would be the case but stupidly we did not take their advice. After about six months, we ditched the agency and had another go at bringing the process in-house. PPC followed up and again demonstrated that a lot of our spend was unnecessary. We asked them reduce our costs and improve our CTRs, initially on a one-off basis, which they achieved very quickly. So we were very happy with the outcome.

The PPC Response team is one that I would highly recommend to those who either don’t know how to manage their PPC effectively or who do not have the time. As a bonus, they are nice people to deal with too!
